Kate started dancing at the age of 2 and following in the footsteps of her dancer mother Kate studied in ballet, tap and modern and quickly progressed through Grade work with BATD.
Aged 13, Kate tried cheerleading and was instantly hooked. Competing in both Cheer and Pom Dance, Kate has competed all around England and at the International Championships in Bournemouth. Kate began coaching Cheer 2 years ago in primary and secondary schools and holds USASF Levels 1 & 2 in Cheer. Kate is trained in safeguarding and alongside HCT works as a qualified lifeguard. She also possesses a first aid and defibrillator administration qualification.
