Calling all 15-17 year olds! NCS Huddersfield wants you!

The Huddersfield branch of the National Citizen Service (NCS) is searching for teenagers aged between 15 and 17 years old to take part in their summer programme starting on 15 August.

The 4-part programme gives young people the chance to develop skills for both work and life while having fun.

Week 1 is adventure week where, unsurprisingly, some adrenaline fuelled challenges lie ahead. Week 2 is based on skills – which may even include cooking while living in University style accommodation. Week 3 then bring s all the experience gained in the first two weeks together and teams have to deliver their very own social action project with an additional flexible 30 hours to complete the project.

Over 200,00 young people have already signed up to NCS across the UK and here’s your chance to be involved! NCS Huddersfield are offering the final places for free starting on 15 August.

For more information and to sign up, please visit or call NCS Huddersfield based at The Zone on 01484 484 180.

Please note that by completing NCS, college participation will not be affected.
