Birthplace: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Lisa has over 12 years’ experience of working within a sports environment, which includes 8 years working for Huddersfield Community Trust,  a non-profit charity based at The Zone, Huddersfield.  Initially her role was to create and develop the operations side of the organisation where she then went on to establish herself as the Human Resources Manager.  Lisa was a member of the senior management team and in November 2015 became the Chief Executive Officer for Huddersfield Community Trust.

Job Role:

Huddersfield Community Trusts uses the influence of professional sport, to engage people, improve community cohesion, improve fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of local people. The trust is responsible for community sports and education activities for Huddersfield Giants and the National Citizens Service within Kirklees.

Lisa manages the entire operations of the Trust, including development, communications and logistics. She has established a uniquely close working relationship with all department heads which continues to ensure the successful outcome of important decisions that affect the direction of the Trust. Lisa uses excellent communication skills to deal with over 60 internal staff and hundreds of external partners the charity engages with to discover what policies, products and strategies are needed to deliver the best possible service for local people.

Away from work, Lisa put family first as she is a mother of two children and grandma of two very young children. She loves to travel, enjoys shopping trips and eating out. She likes the idea of keeping fit, more than the keeping fit part itself, but does her best to do so!!!
