Gemma attended Leeds Metropolitan University where she gained her degree of BA Hons in Sport and Recreation Development. Following University Gemma had several part-time coaching positions before joining Huddersfield Community Trust when it opened its doors in 2008. After having several roles within the company from Head Receptionist to Department Head of the Play Zone Gemma now assists in Finance and Human Resources.

Away from work Gemma is a keen netball player competing in several leagues around West Yorkshire. She enjoys going to the gym, loves to travel, enjoys shopping and socialising with friends and family.

Job Role:

Gemma started the role of Finance & HR Admin Assistant in September 2015 whereby she provides the senior management team with financial and administrative support including processing all income and expenditure, cashing up, inputting transactions onto the accounting system, maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers, liaising with both external and internal customers, suppliers and employees to ensure accurate data, resolve queries with outstanding debt. Assist in recruitment processes and responsible for all contracts of employment.
